Data Collection
KALEIDOSKY STUDIO LLC does not collect, sell, rent, or share the notes and tasks you enter in myTriage.
The app does not require a developer account or login and does not include advertising, third-party analytics, tracking, or developer-operated remote logging.
Information Stored on Your Mac
myTriage may store task text, freeform note content, collaboration note content, note position and size, colors, font size, app preferences, purchase entitlement status, and lock settings on your Mac.
Note records are encrypted on your device. KALEIDOSKY STUDIO LLC does not receive the contents of your local note store.
Passcode Lock and Screenshots
You can protect myTriage with a six-digit passcode and optional automatic locking. The passcode is processed on your Mac and is not sent to KALEIDOSKY STUDIO LLC. Support cannot recover a forgotten passcode.
When myTriage is locked, sticky windows collapse and their note contents are hidden. The app also requests macOS window-sharing protection when screenshots are not allowed. This is a best-effort operating-system control, not a guarantee against every capture method. It cannot erase screenshots or photographs already taken and cannot protect information after you intentionally copy, export, or share it.
Optional Local Collaboration
Collaboration is optional. myTriage uses Apple's local-network technologies to discover nearby myTriage users and connect only after the host selects and invites a person.
Collaboration content is encrypted in transit and moves directly between participating devices. KALEIDOSKY STUDIO LLC does not operate a collaboration server and does not receive the shared note content.
A collaboration display name and technical peer or session identifiers may be visible to nearby myTriage users while discovery is active. A participant who receives a shared note can view and retain the content on their device. Invite only people you trust.
Encrypted Backups and Imports
myTriage creates a backup only when you request one. The backup contains your sticky notes and is encrypted with the backup passphrase you choose. KALEIDOSKY STUDIO LLC cannot recover that passphrase or decrypt the file for you.
You choose where to save or import a backup using macOS file controls. If you save a backup to iCloud Drive, Dropbox, or another service, that service handles the encrypted file under its own privacy practices.
In-App Purchase
myTriage offers an optional one-time Pro purchase through the Mac App Store. Apple processes the transaction. KALEIDOSKY STUDIO LLC does not receive your payment card details. Apple's privacy policy and App Store account settings apply to purchase information.
Data Retention and Deletion
Local myTriage data remains on your Mac until you delete the notes or remove the app's data. Deleting local data cannot erase a backup you exported, information already received by a collaborator, or information you previously copied or shared.
KALEIDOSKY STUDIO LLC does not retain your notes or tasks on developer-operated servers.
Security Limits and Your Choices
myTriage's privacy features are designed to reduce casual viewing and unauthorized access. No software can guarantee that information will never be accessed, copied, lost, altered, or compromised.
Protection may be affected by physical or remote access to the Mac, weak or reused passcodes, malware, accessibility or remote-control tools, other apps, operating-system behavior, external cameras, backups, and vulnerabilities outside myTriage's control. Secure your Mac and Apple Account, keep software updated, protect passcodes and backup files, and invite only people you trust.

If you contact support, KALEIDOSKY STUDIO LLC receives the name, email address, optional contact details, and message you enter in the website form. Do not include note contents, passcodes, backup passphrases, or backup files in a support message.
Children's Privacy
myTriage is not directed to children under 13. KALEIDOSKY STUDIO LLC does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.
Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated when app features or privacy practices change. Any update will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
